Chinook Winds Park is home to 55 acres of park space with over 2 kilometres of paved pathways that provide you with tons of space to cruise along in nature. Whether you’re teaching your kids to ride or are an experienced biker looking for an easy afternoon, you can cruise along through the park and soak in the springtime sun.

  • Try skateboarding

    With different challenges for all skill levels, you can roll through this skatepark to learn a new skill or perfect that trick you’ve been working on for years. Scooters, rollerblades and BMXs are all welcome, so if skateboarding isn’t for you, try some other wheeled fun!

  • Play ball

    Choose your sport in one of eight ball diamonds, four beach volleyball courts and a multi-use court all open and available during the warmer seasons. Challenge your neighbours to a game or bring the family and practice the basics of something new.

  • Have a picnic

    After a day full of activities, venture onto the green space with your picnic basket in tow. Take advantage of sunshades or spread out in the sun while enjoying lunch in the park. Fly a kite, read a book, or play tag in the grass in one of Airdrie’s largest parks
